There are 4 main companies manufacturing motors - Somfy, Alpha, Acmedia, Dooya

Motorisation is available for:

Indoor: Curtains, roller blinds, roman blinds.

Outdoor: Roller blinds, folding arm awnings, awnings and louvers

Now things have got a whole lot easier because most motors are now available with 12 volt batteries that normally last around 6 months and obviously don't require an electrician to install a power point nearby. Also 240 volt is still available.

If you get all the same brand of motor though-out the house, you can have one app on your phone to control everything, or voice control all you need is a device that sits next to your router which costs about $300 depending on the brand. You can still use a simple remote control or wall switches.
